Run my full analysis free →Most SWOT analyses fail the same way: generic entries ("good customer service", "the economy"). The fix is a specificity test — every entry needs a number, a name, or a date. "Strong brand" is decoration; "4.9★ across 900 reviews, highest in the zip code" is evidence you can build strategy on.
S: route density: 80% of clients within 3 miles (lowest drive time in market) · W: one van — a breakdown stops 100% of revenue · O: HOA next door lost its landscaping vendor in March · T: two PE-backed franchises entered the county this year.
S: onboarding in 11 minutes vs competitor's 2 days (measured) · W: single-founder engineering; bus-factor 1 · O: incumbent raised prices 40% in January — switchers are in-market · T: platform API pricing change could triple COGS.
A finished SWOT should produce exactly two commitments: an S×O bet (use this strength to capture this opportunity) and a W×T fix (close this weakness before this threat exploits it). If you can't name both, the analysis isn't done.
